Signet Are the UK’s largest specialist Jewellery retailer with circa 500 stores across the UK and Ireland. The last decade has seen significant growth in customer online orders Signet identified the need for new investment within its Customer Fulfilment operation to meet the expected demands of the next decade. The strategy was centred around a powered conveyor solution that would relieve congestion, providing a more efficient layout, one designed to deliver the work to the operatives and significantly improve the workflow / capacity of the team.
We spoke to 4 different suppliers and it quickly became evident that CSL understood what we needed and designed a solution that would deliver the tangible benefits Signet was looking for. The solution was tailored to our needs, based upon the meetings / discussions we held, and the clarity of their presentation really helped Signet to make its decision.
CSL were able to demonstrate very early on in the process their commitment to Signet via the way they handled the various challenges of the project and the support they provided throughout all stages. The final solution has exceeded our expectations and has significantly contributed to the process improvements we have seen in the NDC.
Signet places a great importance on the working relationships with its strategic partners and based upon the solution delivered in 2018 we wouldn’t hesitate in working with CSL again.
